AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

February 23rd, 2009 - Alta will consider resumes for a mid-level Landscape Architect/Designer at our Portland, OR and/or Berkeley, CA offices.

We work at both the local and national levels. Responsibilities will include project management, field investigation and site analysis, research, design, permitting, planning, public outreach, project management, and numerous other duties in support of projects across the country. An ideal combination is landscape architecture and planning experience. An interest and dedication to bicycle and pedestrian enhancements is a must.

DESIRED SKILLS
* M.A. Landscape Architecture
* Experience with bike/ped/trail planning, feasibility studies, and design
* 5-10 years experience
* AutoCAD proficiency
* Additional software skills: GIS, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch-Up and Microsoft Office
* Graphics and hand illustration skills
