Takkens Shoes
Technologies Used
PHP, MySQL, Magento, Script.aculo.us / Prototype
Why it's cool
This is a high powered e-commerce site built on top of the Magento platform. In addition to all the amazing features Magento provides, the site has a custom back end integration with the brick and mortar store's point of sale (POS) system. It's also got some slick custom javascript effects controlling the cart and other sections of the site.

This is a completely customized yet simple content managed site. In addition to all text blocks being editable via the admin interface images may be uploaded cropped and placed all in one simple step via the web browser. No image editing is required!

Why it's cool
This is a user generated video site I built back in 2006. Users may upload videos sharing their know how on any number of given topics. Site is supported via advertising in the form of pre-rolls and traditional banners. Custom script written to convert uploaded files to the proper format for web presentation and add a thumbnail. Custom CMS on the admin section allows for moderating of video and page content.

Essure Landing Page
Technologies Used

Why it's cool
Graceful degredation was the name of the game on this project. The client wanted to be sure the page was accessible without flash and javascript enabled. If flash is off the slide panel will revert to a javascript based solution, if JS is off it will default to still images. All of this is done while still maintaining valid XHTML and CSS markup.

Why it's cool
Konigmedia approached me with a fresh new design but it needed to be applied to an aging ASP based content management system. With a little massaging I was able to maintain the client's existing system and bring the look up to today's standards.

EMC Insite
Technologies Used
PHP, MySQL, Custom Apache Mods, XML, Flash (AS2)
Why it's cool
This tool was developed to provide better analytics data for EMC clients. Rather than using a traditional JavaScript based system like Google Analytics, Insite uses server logs to get a more accurate depiction of client web traffic. Insite then merges this data with off-line data such as visitor foot traffic, phone calls, and traditional media analytics. Data is displayed via XML/SWF Charts. Report pages are content managed and fully custimizeable depending on client data needs.
Trinity Park Kiosk- Community Map
Technologies Used
Flash (ActionScript 3), MySql
Why it's cool
This kiosk was built to allow the client to keep track of what home units are available for sale. Front end is built in Flash AS3 and the admin section is PHP connecting to a MySQL database. Flash communicates with the database via XML.

Konig Media Client Upload

Why it's cool
This site provides a straightforward interface for clients to upload large files without needing an FTP client. Supports multiple uploads and email notification upon upload completion. Backend file management available through admin login allows for removing old files.
